Nevill Holt Opera is staging its largest festival yet, with seven performances taking place between 16 June and 3 July.
A new production of Verdi's Rigoletto directed by Oliver Mears and conducted by Nicholas Chalmers will be staged on 16, 18, 21 and 23 June. Mark Stone will make his debut in the title role, with Susana Gaspar as Gilda and Alexandros Tsilogiannas as the Duke of Mantua.
Donizetti's The Elixir of Love (30 June; 2, 3 July) will also be directed by Mears and conducted by Chalmers. The cast includes Katie Bird as Adina, Anthony Flaum as Nemorino and James McOran-Campbell as Belcore.
