Earlier this summer, Chris Brown and Drake put their much-publicized differences aside, ending their public beef. After a photo of the two stars in studio together surfaced online, Brown has appeared on the ESPYs with Drake, and a rumored performance was scheduled to happen at this year’s OVO Fest, that reportedly got haulted due to Chris Brown’s legal problems.

Sitting down with MTV News, Breezy opened up on why they chose to reconcile, Drake inviting him to ESPYs, and recording on plenty on new records together.

On putting their differences in the past:
Were young, so its not like [we had] a pow wow over tea or nothing. It didnt need to be explained. It wasnt no problem.

On appearing together at the ESPYs:
[Drake's] camp actually called me to do the skit. Especially after getting out of jail, I didnt have any animosity towards anybody.

I wanted to be able to bring light to the situation and just grow up. Im 25 and Im not getting younger. You cant walk around holding grudges, looking over your shoulder and being negative all the time. Im tired of being looked at as the aggressor, so I just wanted to show my maturity.

On future collaborations, and their different ways of doing studio sessions:
Working on music is something were gonna continuously try to do and make happen. I know itll be a big thing for the fans if they hear a song - but it has to be the right song, for both of us, at the end of the day.

When we were in the studio [Drake] was like, Oh, man, I need to have my studio like this. My vibe is a little different I like to have a party. Its like the club in my studio with 15 or 20 girls, a couple of my homies, drinks and everybodys having fun. I just get the vibe off the energy from them.
