It’s been a minute since we last heard from metalcore outfit Bleeding Through, but the band’s back with a new track that basically dares haters to fuck around and find out. With this year marking the band’s 25th anniversary, it only makes sense that they return with something new and with something that effectively serves as a new mission statement.
With moody keys that float above the heavily downtuned guitar and bass while the drums pound away, “Our Brand Is Chaos” is a first look at whatever the band’s got cooking in the studio. Though there’s no word of a new album just yet, it’s important to note that the band hasn’t released a full-length album since 2018’s Love Will Kill All, so I’d say they’re about due.
Speaking of the single, lead vocalist Brandan Schieppati said the song was all about the band’s fans and the support they offer.
“‘Our Brand Is Chaos’ is a statement. This is about our unrivaled support by our fans, friends and families. Together we are imperfectly perfect, pure chaos and all love. Let this be our anthem through dark time. Fuck with us and find out.”
We’re going to have to keep an eye out for more Bleeding Through, as I’m willing to guess that it’s only a matter of time before more music come out. For now, you can check out the single below.
