Brezlon "Young BB" Shealy has been an entrepreneur as long as he can remember. Being a 16 year old native of Columbia, South Carolina, he thinks his city is often "over-looked". Growing up with only his mom and brother in some of the worst neighborhoods of Columbia wasn’t easy for Young BB. Living in a home with one parent forced him to become a man early in life. He got tired of watching his mother struggle real quick and decided it was time for a change. Young BB has been recording since 1996 after he was introduced to rap by just a simple radio. After about a year of studying beats and bars, he finally thought he was ready. His older cousin Mentality (a local veteran emcee) took him under his wing. Since then, BB has never turned his back on music. By the age of twelve he was introduced to Darryl Brown, which was a friend of Mentality's. Darryl was making beats and had a small recording studio in his home. So BB and Darryl teamed up forming an unstoppable combination. With BB's down south swagger and Darryl's up north tempo they were sure to take the game. His style is far from Bow Wow’s and ahead of Soulja Boy’s so no young artist can be compared to the 16 year old phenomenon. Now it's a new year and BB is ready for his first official album! With his whole city lined up and a team of street leaders they can't be overlooked now. Because of A&R's "lack of listening" BB is still left without a deal, but this year BB says, will change his life forever.
